Phasmophobia's weekly challenge give players unique tasks that usually make the game harder; however, this week's challenge, Speedrun!, actually may make it a little bit easier, since it ups your player speed. Here's what you need to know about this unique challenge, and how to beat it for a great reward.
Phasmophobia: How To Complete Speedrun! Challenge
Phasmophobia's Speedrun! weekly challenge gives you increased player speed, and tasks you with finding the ghost as fast as you can three times on Tanglewood. You'll have access to all equipment at Tier 3, so you won't need to worry about what to bring or use once you're there.
These factors make the Speedrun! weekly challenge one of the game's easiest and most beginner-friendly challenges. Here are some tips for completing it.
Play With Friends
As with almost all challenges, you'll have a higher chance of finding the ghost if you play with friends. Not only will you be able to cover more ground, but you'll be able to gather evidence more quickly. Since Speedrun! gives you access to all equipment, you can definitely have some fun with friends on this one!
Make Use Of That Extra Speed
Speedrun! lets you run around quickly, so make use of that speed. At the beginning of the match, check different rooms with tools to find the ghost rooms - and use your speed to run from the ghost if you end up being a potential victim of a Hunt!
Use All Of Your Equipment
Having Tier 3 Equipment makes it way easier to identify the ghost quickly, especially with your added speed, so be sure to make use of all your equipment and use the process of elimination to identify the ghost. Playing with friends makes this even easier, since you can carry even more equipment with you out of the truck and into the house, allowing you to get more evidence faster.
